Weekend Recap (4/14/24)

Yesterday at Palmetto Shores Church we flooded our hearts with God’s promises. Psalm 121 is some of the greatest encouragement to be found in this world. It offers a radically different vision for life than what this world offers. Rather than pursuing a “do it yourself” mentality, this Psalm invites us into a world where God is the keeper of our life. This helps us make sense of why Jesus told us not to be anxious about our life–because we have a Father who cares for us 24/7, 365. I pray you are blessed by Psalm 121 today:

“A Song of Ascents. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.”
